Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently purchased an Ecliptech ShiftP2+ shift light to install on 997.2. Had one on my 997.1 and found it to be invaluable. Was great to have the visual reference during DEs and other situations where it may be challenging to read the tach or hear the engine while navigating tight corners or traffic. I understand the installation is quite different for 997.2 compared to the 997.1 so was looking for anyone that can offer any guidance on this process. The ground and power looks pretty straight forward - running down to the fuse panel, however I am looking for recommendations on where to connect the blue wire (ignition/rpm output). In the 997.1 this connection could be made under the passenger seat at the ECU but see that does not apply to the .2. Any suggestions?
