I just picked up a new CS... I'm hearing all sorts of advice on breaking in the engine... The whole "keep it under 4200 RPM for the first 2,000 miles" seems to be a common one... Is this legit? Any advice? I'm sure I could dig through this site and find my answer but I'm lazy, new and confused...Thanks for the help.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

You will probably find that this has been one of the most talked about and debated issues on this board. I strongly recommend you do a search before SF reads this.... Aloha Russ

HAHAHAHA, that's what I was going to say... beat me to it.
Yes, that's good advice, and I think it's ligit. dotcomrealty - There's four previous threads listed at the bottom of this page under the "similar threads" label that have almost 100 thoughts and opinions on this subjet. This has been beat to death - which is good, but still, it's been beat to death. I hope you're not too "new and lazy" to scroll down to the bottom of the page to read them - my guess is it would be worth you while. brad
Good stuff...Thanks
here's another thread just started two weeks ago... brad http://www.planet-9.com/showthread.php?t=10375
