At least in the Washington, DC/MD/VA area, PepBoys has Mobil 1 on sale for $5.49 plus a $0.60/quart mail-in rebate (making net cost $4.89/quart). Needs the coupon in the Sunday paper. The one I went to had dozens of bottles of 0W-40 Mobil 1. There is a max of 6 quarts.
In Connecticut, I buy Mobil1 in 5 quart jugs at WalMart for $22.50. That's $4.50 a quart. Cheapest I've seen.
