Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

help yet again please!! My daughter pressed the cab open button whilst the hard top was on...now I have a red light on for the hood warning on the dsahboard which I can seem to get rid of. Also, the alram honks once when I lock it - which it never did before!!?? What have I (or her) doen and how can I fix it!

POST 2Original post

I dont have a cab but sounds like the locking mechanism for the softop is 'unlocked'. The single honk of the horn indicated something is open eg door, bonnet, engine cover. If noone else comes up with better advise I'd either press the close button (but youve tried that already right?) or lift the hardtop off, and let the thing sort itself out. Oh .... and chop her fingers off ;-)
