Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

POST 2Original post

Many factors to consider: What are your driving plans? For example, track or street? If street, I think a stock boxster (base or S) will be very good as stock. Decent performance without modifications. If you are thinking abot a track car, then get your checkbook out. There are several modifications available including header/exhaust packages, free-flow intakes, suspension, brakes, etc. i have seen a supercharger advertisement. I would be bit concerned dropping a turbo without tranny mods. Also, a few folks have dropped 3.6L engines into their Boxsters. Join up and continue to have some fun!!
