Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Been doing a bit of cleaning around the drain holes in the frunk and found a loose wire (pic below) it’s on the drivers side opposite the cabin filter side, so there’s no confusion. I have circled the wire in yellow, any ideas? I will connect back up with a new connector, the only thing that has stopped working recently is the internal heater blower, I think this is unconnected. Any ideas will be most welcome.

POST 2Original post

That's the blanking plate covering the cabin air intake on LHD cars. The wire coming through it has been done after as it's not standard. Could be anything. Maybe someone used it as a 12v supply from the battery to something in the car???

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That makes sense, I knew it was aftermarket, thanks for the confirmation.. Just need to find out what it’s for, looks like it’s been broken for a while.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
