What if any experience has anyone had with the OBDII PLUG N PLAY tuner chips. I'm sceptical but curious. Brand, price and where purchased would be helpful plus year and model of your car

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Simple: They are junk and not worth the money.
Yep
While I tend to agree, I have had good experiences with similar items on a team Honda race car. Cheap chip gaines a little top end and eliminated a mid range flat spot. I don't have the mid range issue with my 996 but who doesn't want a little extra
Considering the $1K complete DME re-flashes only provide small gains on 10/10ths M96/97 engines, and then only at the far upper end of the RPM range, nonsense that plugs into the OBD II port are simply a waste of $. These are not Hondas......
