Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have fitted a new fixed spoiler to my 996 along with a new boot lid. Does anyone know how I can stop the spoiler light coming on in the dash board. I've tried removing fuses but not had any luck. Thanks

POST 2Original post

The Porsch Aerokit comes with a loom which bypasses the spoiler microswitches to prevent this happening. I've seen a few posts on forums from people who have modified the existing wiring to stop this happening. Here is one I found which might do the trick: http://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/815869-2002-996-fixed-spoiler-installation-2.html#post11404747
