Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Went to see Gone Girl today and spotted a 996 in the Taken 3 trailer. It happens very fast so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong TAKEN 3 Official Trailer (2015) - Liam Neeson Movie HD - YouTube

POST 2Original post

The car in the scene where it takes out the planes wheel as it is taking off is a 996. This one looks better than the second. Ill definitely watch it when it comes on-demand.

POST 3Original post

Very nice! Here is more of 996 being title character. Dima Bilan - Nevozmozhnoe Vozmozhno - YouTube

POST 4Original post

Is that YOU Kalashnikov? What kind of belt buckle are you wearing?

Well, no.... But the song is very applicable to the 996. It is called "Impossible is Possible" by Dima Bilan. The "guy" is singing that M96 is so unreliable that there is no way he is getting in the car with that girl, so instead he takes a subway to avoid the shame of M96 and funky headlights. To his amazement that 996 makes it to the next station and he admits that "impossible is possible" and gets in the car. Other rennlist members also made their appearance. 928 crew earning wages for the new rebuilt at 1:15. Macster at 2:05. KK at 2:30. Gator at 3:00.

POST 7Original post

IIRC, I think I saw this car was for sale recently.

POST 8Original post

Saw the movie last night and was very happy to see "my keys" on the table that he grabbed in the end... Was holding my breath until I saw the 996 in the garage. Very cool. Was positively surprised that they had picked such an "old" car for the movie. Made me want to drive my car badly late last night...

POST 9Original post

I have one too of a Japanese **** star loving her 996 Turbo 😜

POST 10Original post

I watched the movie last night too. Yea, I used to drive my 996 like that every day (not through fences and into airplanes though ) - that is until the engine imploded

POST 11Original post

That might have had something to do with it...

POST 12Original post

Great scene when he goes airborne out of the garage!

POST 13Original post

That's what I felt like doing the next day. Instead, I advertised it on CL (got about a dozen emails and 2 offers in the first couple of hours). Well, then I came to my senses. It is now at my Indy shop waiting for an engine exchange with a 997 block (big IMSB).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
