I am expecting a Dension Gateway 500 soon. I'm hoping to be able to hide the main unit away behind either the PCM or the glove box. Before I start meddling, can anyone advise how the glove box is removed, and of there is likely to be space behind it for the Gateway. Thanks David

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hopefully this is enough info on the glove box removal, but if you want the complete instructions, drop me an email. How about putting it somewhere behind the lower half of the centre console. You might have enough space there. The side panels and carpet panels of the console unclip easily, and the CD holder (or storage bin) just pull out, so you can access it reasonably easily.
Richard, Thanks for the info. and also for the alternative suggestion which might be a better idea. David
