Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I wanted to know if it would be possible to upgrade my 997.1 Sports Chrono gauge with one from a 991.1 series with the clock feature? Would it require additional wiring, etc. Thanks and much appreciated.

POST 2Original post

Try the 997 forum. This forum is for air cooled cars. Good luck. Johan

I think you're in the correct forum, 996, 997, & 991, but I have not a clue on doing a cut & paste dashboard electrical update. I would guess there's much more to it than swapping out a newer gauge.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
