Hello all, 2000 Boxster S. Somehow when doing a batch order for a full refresh I ended up with these NGK Platinum G-Power plugs. Single electrode, BKR6EGP. I assume they were the ones selected for the car by the supplier website. Wasn't until I went to install them when I saw that the pelican book, and OEM, references the 4 electrode plugs. Should I bother installing these to replace unknown mileage plugs or just throw them in the bin and order the OEM 4 prongs? Cheers.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tell your supplier that they sent you the wrong part. The correct NGK plug appears to be the BKR6EK https://www.ngk.com/ngk-2288-bkr6ek-multi-ground-spark-plug
But I stick to NGK, really don't know why. But they work ;-)
