I really want to retrofit a storage compartment cover with logo (option CUV) I had tried 3 opc none of them can order one for me! I had also email Porsche Exclusive which they replied because these are 'EXCLUSIVE' parts, you can only fit those parts when you are ordering your new car! They cannot be retrofitted. I am very very very disappointed! If anyone here who can help me to get hold of one for my Gen2 Carrera S, I will be very grateful!:cheers:
A couple of suggestions, 1) Try Suncoast here in the US I think they have one that they ordered by mistake and are trying to sell. 2) Ask them how they ordered it when your local OPC will not. Exclusive items CAN be ordered after car purchase, it is the unique items that cannot be, at least in the US anyway. We have an Exclusive catalog here that dealers simply order from. It is more expensive than ordering with the car though.
The one Suncoast had sold on Ebay last week. FYI, it is difficult to order 'Exclusive' options that did not come with a car unless they are 'damaged'. What some dealers will allow you to do is order the part as if it were from a different car. You will need to find a car with the option you are looking for then pass the VIN of the car and the part number to the dealer so that he can order a 'replacement' part. As Ken says don't expect it to be the cost as if were ordered with a new car.

The order no. for the one I really want=CPT Centre console main storage compartment lid with Porsche crest: Smooth-finish leather in interior colour with decorative stitching. My car got black leather interior! I will be very grateful if anyone who can help me to get hold of one! I have been trying very hard with Porsche uk but getting nowhere:wall:
I saw someone today at a meet that had a the logo done in red stitching. It was hot!!!! I would definitely like to get it done as well.
