Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So i started with a hunting idle, and i found that the oil filler tube was cracked.....so while i was replacing it.....(taking out the alternator to get to the oil pipe filler tube screws), i clipped the vacuum tube and pulled out a couple other vacuum tubes while trying to get the alternator out. Needless to say, it got confusing real quick. Ive seen a few different vacuum diagrams but i just cannot seem to place what i see there with what i see in my car. The main one im confused about is this one coming from the rear driver side quarter panel thru a grommet. i noticed the same on the passenger side that does connect to the Y connector on the passenger side, not sure if this is the same. Does it connect the Y connector above the alternator? Any help would be appreciated!
