Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Define "cold start". I mean like what ambient temperature. Yes, the oil will be sluggish and so will the transmission fluid until you get up to temp.
I don't notice mine being sluggish, but I don't push it hard when it's just been started.
The cold start enrichment cycle with the air pump on does cause sluggishness up to 2900 RPM or so on my 99. The exhaust sounds louder than normal. Im fine with it because I believe driving the car to warm it is better than just letting it idle. Other 911s and other cars do this too, if we are super perceptive. Some car ECUs are better at hiding it than others. Reason: owners would complain about it.
