So after five days the battery shuts down to save energy. Now on the forum, people have said when you return to your car after these 5 days. put the key in the door, unlock it, now you have 10 seconds to get the key in the ignition. But in the drivers manual, it says put the key in the door unlock it and press the remote. and it should wake the battery up. and things will be normal. My question is which is right.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
