Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And flirted yea, with cars not of the true path. I flirted with a saucy Noble and spent a lot of time inside an XKR, but at last I have come to my senses and at 09:30 on 27/05 I will once again be able to experience the astonishing grip of a 911. Can't wait

POST 2Original post

Assuming it's a 996 - what the model/spec/colour - and of course pics!

POST 3Original post

Nobles are suppose to be the kings of handling. I wonder how they would compare to a GT3. The only thing that lets it down is the plain-jane looks. ~ Maxie

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry for delay been away for a few days. It is an arctic silver, 03, 996tt, spec isn't very special apart from Bose option but it has only done 17,000 miles and as I drive a lot on business that was more important to me. Haven't taken any pics yet but will post as soon as I do. Got to go away and try to stop grinning now the roads have finally dried out

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nobles do handle brilliantly, totally flat, like a 350hp kart in many ways. Haven't ever had the opportunity to drive a GT3 in anger so I can't really compare. I do know that back to back if you were doing more than a few laps bits would be falling off the Noble and littering the track, the build quality is absolutely dreadful even allowing for the fact it is low volume etc etc as the apologists will no doubt say. Getting back in a 911 was just like coming home after a long journey 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

POST 6Original post

Martynb - I thought as much. They may handle better than a Porsche but I think I'd agree with you about the quality - its just not there....yet. ~ Maxie
