Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Here are the pictures of my new Cayman S! (see images gallery for full size photos)

POST 2Original post

Wow! Congrats. Like the interior detailing. Its gonna look so good in the metal. Can't wait

POST 3Original post

When I saw that model at the dealer I was really impressed with the look of the car which the pictures don't do justice to. Do you get that sense from the model as well or am I just hallucinating?????

POST 4Original post

Yeah there is something about the rear 1/4 of the car that shows up better in 3D than in pictures, can't say exactly what it is, but I get that feeling..

POST 5Original post

So is that Arctic Silver or GT Silver? Cool two-tone interior. JHellow

POST 6Original post

Doesn't say, but I believe it is Arctic or their approximation thereof...

POST 7Original post

Wow, lucky you. I am calling my salesman tomorrow and tell him I want my Cayman too.

POST 8Original post

I'm on the phone calling....GOTTA have one. Last phone call dealer didn't say anything about the availability of the models.

POST 9Original post

Hmm. I thought you were going with Speed Yellow?????

POST 11Original post

I hope the hinges on the real car are smaller /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/tounge_smile.gif

POST 12Original post

Just to reiterate, this car was ordered from Suncoast Porsche in Florida via Ric Knab in their e-parts sales. Tell Ric I sent you if you order one from him and remind him to advertise on this site! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thanks.gif

POST 13Original post

Just got mine yesterday from Suncoast. These guys are aggressive. They search the German parts list and get these in before official Porsche USA release. So, don't expect to find them at all dealers even though they could get them if they tried. I have the 997 version of this too. The Cayman looks nice diecast but the car will be the real deal. I've seen pics of the car that look better than the model. I wonder if the proportions are correct. -Pete

POST 14Original post

No worries. The hinges on the model are not correct. See: http://www.pistonheads.com/pics/news/11947/6-L.jpg
