The title says it all, I am looking to completely remove the indent and third brake light from my '99 C2. Do these parts directly swap, or does the turbo one mount different/ is longer due to wide body? I feel this would look very clean and the wing already has a third light. Thanks for the technical assistance!
I can measure that part on my Turbo tonight if you want.
They are the same width, but are different dimensions vertically (Turbo piece is shorter) and it will be a significant amount of work to swap the panel. It would be less work to cut out the third brake light and weld in a patch panel.
If you would like to completely delete the 3rd brake light, there is/was a blanking panel that snaps into the hole. It is sold as part of the aero kit.

Pretty sure the C4S/Turbo piece is shorter since the deck lids are longer. Even if it weren't, you're really going to cut welds out over a brake light you can't see while driving?
