Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all. After many years of 993 ownership I became the proud owner of a 996 yesterday. The only thing it didn't come with was an instruction manual for the CR 22 Radio Cassette Player. Does anyone have one kicking around that they don't want? Alternatively, if I could borrow one in order to photocopy all the relevant pages that would work well for me instead. I'd happily cover all costs obviously. Thanks and regards Ellis

POST 2Original post

I have one & could probably scan the 30-odd pages to a PDF if that would help (assuming no-one has a spare).

POST 3Original post

I've got CR210, CDR210, CDR220 and CDR23 Manuals. Nick, if you do scan the CR22, could you email me a copy?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nick, that would be great. Let's see if anyone else has a spare first and touch base in a couple of days. Regards Ellis

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nick Have tried emailing you directly, but I don't think it went. Looks like you're the only person able to assist. I'd be very grateful if you can do as you suggested and would be happy to meet any costs you incur of course. Regards Ellis

POST 6Original post

No email, but I got notification of your post [8|] Will try to get it scanned for you in the next couple of days.

POST 7Original post

I'm sure I came across one of these on line a while back- some american lot which specialised in Porsche/Becker. Here it is! http://www.beckerautosound.com/pdf_guides/om43-4462.pdf

POST 8Original post

That looks like what I have got - listed as a CR/CDR220. Can anyone confirm which it is?

POST 9Original post

That looks almost exactly like the docs I have & the design of the unit itself is identical. Looks like Ellis has a manual [ ]

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fantastic. Thanks very much guys. A very nice introduction to the 996 Register! Very grateful for all your help Kind regards Ellis

POST 11Original post

I've added the manuals and the Becker link to the FAQ section, for members: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/fb.asp?m=293052 . If anyone has other Porsche/Becker radio manuals, please let me have a copy and I'll add them to the list.

POST 12Original post

No worries... Although, even with a manual I still can't quite understand the radio on mine.[ ]
