Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have contacted several Porsche dealers, none of them know where the valves for the PSE on the exhaust system is located. Before the muffler, in the mufflers, on the cross-over pipe. Does anyone know where the actual cut off valve is? Does anyone have pics of it? I have heard that TechART has an exhaust coming out with this option.

POST 2Original post

The valves are located in a sort of cut-out of each muffler (compared to original). See attached picture.

POST 3Original post

Hi! I'm an italian porsche lover. Everyone has some pictures of the unmounted PSE for the cayman ? in eBay.uk i found this artigianal "PSE" for the Boxster , but I think that the original PSE hasn't a direct connection between collectors and terminal, like this: excuse my english. Thanks! gabriele

POST 4Original post

Check this thread for a picture of the PSE (a cad drawing, but it's exactly like this in real): http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-tech/9903-new-cayman-s-pse.html#post117570 Completely different from what you are showing here. It looks to be for the old Boxster? And it looks a little home made.. (actually my PSE doesn't look so much better)

POST 5Original post

Yes, is for the old boxster and completely home made, but the builder sells it like "PSE equivalent". I have see the PSE for 996 but never the system for cayman or boxster. Thanks for your help, is exactly what I wanted!

POST 6Original post

Thanks to Clanor I have had what I tried, but watching the picture me is been born an other question: there is someone that has a picture of like is made the inside of the exhaust (also the original)? I asked myself how works the PSE in the Cayman and what is the distance of the gas with the system on or the system switched off . Thanks!:thanks:
