Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hello all: my apologies if this has been covered but I could not find a direct answer. I have a base 2011 Cayman (no Bose or premium system). My woofer is blown and I purchased a replacement from Suncoast . Once I remove the door panel is the speaker plug and play, or is there soldering involved in connecting the new speaker - again is it a replacement OEM speaker - not an upgraded unit. Any other tips or tricks along the way? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I'll make a guess - I'm about 99% certain it's plug and play since it's OEM. If not - please take a photo for us and post it here. Or to make really sure look at the new replacement speaker - does it have a plug on it or male-spade-terminals?
