Good Morning all. Newbie to the site but not to pelican parts. I bought someones 1999 Carrera garage queen with 31k miles last year. I have thoroughly enjoyed the car and have invested about 15k in it since I bought it. Ive read and followed all the things that I "needed to do" like the IMS and such. I LOVE "tinkering" with the car! I have the service manual for it. The issue Im having is: When lowering the top the soft top started just DROPPING with almost a SLAM once it got midway over the rear seat. It would go back up after a few minutes of closing the top. However, it will no longer do that. I have changed and added the fluid to the pump by following the detailed instructions from the manual. The Top is still in non working order. At this point I haven't located any possible diagnostics on the cause or fix of my issues by skimming through the manual. Anyone with similar experience or know of the fix?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
