Peeps I have an issue which potentially needs fixing asap. I've removed my rear spoiler with a removal tool to polish some over spray off the rear deck. Just gone to re fit the spoiler and one side drops and locks in when turning the shaft anti clockwise. The other drops into place but I can turn it for days. No matter where I stop turning I can always just lift the spoiler straight off again. Not sure whether it was like this before but Im now worried it'll detach itself when it raises. Anyone had this issue before?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Feel free to delete this thread. I managed to solve the issue. The outer and inner sleeves weren't lined up. I had to rotate until they were aligned and then insert the tool again. Not obvious at first but a simple mistake
you just need to make sure that you've got the two holes in the rams lined up (so you can see through them) try turning them clockwise slightly until the spoiler locates, then turn anti clockwise as per the other side.
