Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Its happened a few times now....basically if I start the car after a few days (a week) a puff of smoke comes out and then after which, alls well....last weekend I drove from London to Coventry and she was fine...and shes not using oil..am I being paranoid for potential problems? or is it possible I being too heavy footed before turning her off? Adit. 996 C4 Tip.

POST 2Original post

Sounds normal to me, mine does that, not worried about it....unless the smoke was blue. You'll notice it more if your starting it up in an enclosed space like a garage.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

cool. Its not in a garage but on the street...but I will keep an eye on the oil usuage and any further smoke whilst driving. cheers.
