Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

While down in Southern California visiting an old pal he showed me his latest build and his body kits he's making to sell. This is his prototype, not yet finished.

POST 2Original post

I think the silence tells the story. I'm sorry but that is really unattractive, too bulbous.

POST 3Original post

I don't know - it probably look great in the Pink Pig" livery. ;>)

POST 4Original post

Looks similar to some of the 300zx nissan kits. It needs a big wing to be balanced visually.

POST 5Original post

That is the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen. The bloated panels don’t even conform properly to the body underneath it, there are gaps in it. It’s the really poor man’s RWB!

POST 6Original post

There is a right way to do a 996 wide body kit.

POST 7Original post

^^^ Yep. No comparison whatsoever. The old friend should stick with his day job. If he really thinks his kits will sell, then he should try selling his prototype 996 first to see what kind of responses he gets from it.

I am not sure I would call that "right". The rear bumper looks like a stretched stock one that shows some odd flexed areas.... And the rocker extensions... ummmmmmmmm
