Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A lot of questions here Rich. Re the noise - you can have straight through pipes and be legal - it just depends on whether or not your neighbours complain. There is nothing in the regulations or the MOT about noise level. £1,495 sounds good to me. I had Fabspeeds on my old 996 which cost me £1,100 incl VAT & Fabspeed tips. This was as cheap as I could find and the PSE has a wirin system to put in to allow switching. This alone is a 5 or 6 hour job. Fuel consumption. Sorry, but if this is an issue, you've got the wrong car - not meant to be a dig, just an observation.
obervation accepted and correct. just tryin to justify the spend a thon to the wife........ service , new wheels/ boots, rms & insurance due end aug. around the £4200 mark with the pse. oh, a new spare key as the child has burried my keys somewhere in the garden, or next doors-(tried the metal detector, no luck.) cost £220-00. the boy will pay when he`s older! iam not a wealthy man but iam happy!
Well worth the money IMHO, JDI, you will not regret it... ETA: DO you have a warranty? RMS will be covered under that, i just had mine done and had the clutch done at the same time to save a few pennies.
Hi, If you do not get the PSE you will for certain regret it. It is one of the things you have to add to you 911 above everything else. You can switch on and off as you please. Never had any complaints on the noise. In fact just get compliments. Don't reckon there will be a fuel hit. As it is factory fitted, no MOT issues. Go for it and enjoy. Alan
You will not have any issues with MOT as it is factory fitted. As the others say you may get to know some of your neighbours closer. You can switch the PSE off. However when you start up the car it is automatically on. The sound is a subjective thing. I have the PSE but actually prefer the sound of the fabspeed kit. It has got a deeper more bassy sound. Once you got it you will find yourself looking for some long tunnels!
