Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Why not locate it elsewhere might beba lot easier ?
The lead ive got cannot be cut. Its got a USB plug on it that can be cut. When ive permanent wired on of these in before Ive taken it of the Cigar Socket lead as this is wired correctly but would like to hide the lead if possible Thanks
There might not be enough space behind the existing socket, but the panel is easy enough to remove. Just get a trim tool (or similar) under the bottom edge of the panel and lever it up. The panel is just clipped on.
Thanks richard
Another option would be to tap into the lighter socket supply with one of these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-DC-Converter-Module-12V-To-5V-3A-With-USB-Output-Power-Adapter-15W-Regulator-/361087136998
