Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anyone had a new screen fitted to a 718 by Autoglass. Did they supply a genuine Porsche one on the insurance ?

Depending on who your insurer is, you can request it to be done by an OPC. Your excess may be a little more but may be worth looking into.

POST 4Original post

I had to pay extra on my insurance for a genuine Porsche screen, took them 3 attempts to get the correct screen as well! Can't remember which insurance company or how much the excess was so admittedly this response has limited value! It was Auto glass though. Make sure the tint at top of the screen matches the one coming out. Cheers, Dunc.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My insurance company wont pay for a Porsche screen, Autoglass quoted just over £900 to do it. As my screen has just been scratched I have decided to pay to have the scratch polished out. It is not a deep scratch so I'll see how it turns out. Thanks for your replies .
