Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Welcome Spencer, but there is NO NEED TO SHOUT! [ ] [ ] Basically, to get any significant increase in power, you DO have to spend a fortune. Porsche do a very good job of fuel mapping, so there isn't much to be gained there - and any gains might be at the expense of a "safety factor". Inlet and exhausts are also well designed, and although you might get an improvement in sound, you will gain 5-10bhp at best. Consider that Porsche's X51 Power kit has different heads, cams, exhausts etc, and gives about 25bhp.
Ditto Richards comments. There is very little you can do to increase a normally aspirated engine. If you had a TT (twin Turbo), then it would be a different matter... Actually the cheapest way to make a C4 faster is to trade it in for a Turbo. (Please don't take this the worng way!) but personally I would spend the money upgrading the most limiting factor of any car or bike...... the driver/rider ! The more time I spend driving on-track the faster and safer my car is day-to-day. I'm also doing the PCGB ProDrive Driver Training in August to find out more how the car reacts without PSM. Paul [ ]
