Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Noticed today that the two side airvents, left and right of the dashboard don't do much in the way of directing airflow when I move them. This seems to be because the plastic slats are no longer connected to the control piece. Is it possible to take these apart and reconnect them or is it a case of popping a couple of new ones on?

POST 2Original post

You can take them apart and may be possible to fix. Passenger side is easy. the drivers side is more difficult as it has a secret screw behind the switch for the lights.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. Congrats on the new car by the way. But why not Speed Yellow?

POST 4Original post

Hi Chris, you done this on yours? My passenger side one is broken so would be nice to get it fixed... can just see Tracy's face when I tell her I'm going to attack the dashboard with a screwdriver though

POST 5Original post

Yep - I changed mine - a really easy thing to do.
