Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Anyone have the problem that when they fill up their tanks, the gauge doesn't go all the way to the top? I've filled mine up twice and both times the gauge didn't show full tank. I vaguely remember someone posting a problem with their gas gauge not reading full but did a search and couldn't find anything.

POST 2Original post

Are you making sure that you here the "click" when closing the gas cap?

POST 3Original post

When I get gas at the pump I have to back off with the nozzle quite a bit or the pump will prematurely stop the fill up. By doing that is the only way the Cayman will register a full tank.

POST 4Original post

If you're implying that I may have left the gas cap off, then the answer is yes, I have heard the click. Suneet- I'll try that, the last thing i wanted to do though was test if it was full by giving it another squeeze and then get gas down the side of the car. Thanks for the tip.

POST 5Original post

No not left off just not tightened until it clicks. Strange things happen if that is not done.
