Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I paid a fortune for the phone module only to find it is almost impossible for other people to hear me talk to them. The only reason for purchsing the phone was because I use it for business so its crucial. Porsche UK are now compilling a database of customers with this complaint but as yet there is no fix available. It wont be recalled untill Porsche Germany also acknowledge the fault. Anyone else out ther with the same problem please contact your dealer and complain and let me know how you get along.

POST 2Original post

When we were thinking of ordering the car, the phone module was on the list but I came to my senses and realized buying a cell phone, which are free these days, for $980 was insane. Just forget about it and add a nice BT unit. It will work better from what your saying

POST 3Original post

I wonder if it's faulty? The loan Cayman I had for a week had the phone module installed and I was amazed at how clear it was. (Personally I didn't chose the option as I thought it overpriced and didn't like the SIM card insert (rather than Bluetooth))
