Posting this for reference... My boot lid rattled when the car was new. It went into the dealership 3 times to be reparied, with the final visit met by "there is no more adjustment Sir". This was followed by a rather curt "I do not expect my £50,000 luxury car to RATTLE". Turns out, there are modified bump stops for the boot. They obtained these, put them on... and 9,000 miles later it still doesn't rattle. It EVEN doesn't rattle when you're driving down this excuse for a road in Italy...

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That road is for 4x4s. Yikes!
I'm sure there is more than just the boot rattling when on that road.
Parts Where did you get the parts?
Oh yes! I certainly found out what the Cayenne was made for... ITALY!
Porsche. I bought a £50,000 car brand new from them and they can f**king well fix it. I don't care if they had to completely re-design the bumpstops and get Her Majesty to assemble them out of gold. Not my problem. Now, about my clutch that lasted 1,000 miles.....
Do you have the part numbers for the replacement parts?
That road looks a lot like my driveway. I wish it was in Italy....
Nope. Can't you ask your Official Porsche Centre? Surely your car is still under warranty and they have to fix? That's how it works in England - and you get tea and biscuits at the same time
I think there is a TSB for this in the States.
