Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anybody know if part number 996-559-237-11 (#29 in the pic below) includes the "40 Jahre" plaque under the "911"? In the parts catalogs it looks like it's just the 911, and depending on what site you go to, they have a picture of just the 911 and/or the 911 with the plaque underneath it. I bought a ducktail decklid and I'd rather just buy a new emblem than remove/transfer it over. Asked the parts manager at the local dealer and he said he's "not sure, but we can order it and find out..." Side note: that emblem is pricey AF, would rather not spend nearly $300 and it not be the part I need lol

POST 2Original post

Dont know but this one is a lot cheaper. Last time i looked there are several choices that r exactly the same and price from $50-400. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...hoCm9sQAvD_BwE

Thanks for that! I'll probably go that route, but that still puts me in the same spot...I'd still need the "40 Jahre" plaque underneath.

POST 4Original post

To get the " Jahre" emblem you have to buy the 99655923711 part # for about $350 . The 991 "911" emblem for $50 bucks is a little smaller , but same style....Part # 99155923101

Thanks for the clarification. The -711 part number has a back-shadowed 911 as it seems in the pic, but the -101 part seems to just be the numbers

POST 6Original post

I can also confirm that the 991 version is smaller. 993-559-237-01-70c is the correct height but black.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
