Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

The Needlessly Complicated Cupholders in the Porsche 911 Are Awesome https://jalopnik.com/the-needlessly-complicated-cupholders-in-the-porsche-91-1833336900 I prefer to think of them as the supermodels of cupholders -- compared to big holes in the plastic of my other cars. [btw, there isn't a "General On-Topic" subgroup]

POST 2Original post

I hate them. Stupid cupholder above the shifter. There was a reddit ama on this. Read https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/wvbca/iama_former_employee_of_porsche_cars_north/ They are an afterthought. Real cars don't have cupholders. Jalopnik knows this. Did they forget? They wrote about it years ago. https://jalopnik.com/porsche-america-sent-soda-cups-to-germany-and-told-them-5927762

POST 3Original post

jeez... maybe lighten up? like the jokes about how Germans don't do cupholders because cars are for driving, not cup holding? and I my ownership of a 987.1 meant I recognized the device as not limited to the 911, and so this discussion was placed in the "General Off-Topic" category initially.
