Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi - can't see an article that covers the issue I have with my my03 c4s so trying this. My radio has stopped working. All other items in the pcm ok including cd (Inc. Sound) and sat nav. But no radio reception/sound. Can't se any obvious wires to check. Any ideas very welcome please Many thanks Andrew

POST 2Original post

Does it display the radio station details on the screen? If so, it must be receiving a signal, and I would suspect that there is an internal fault. If no station detail, then it may be the antenna. Apart from the aerial connection, I can't think of much else you can check. It might possibly be the antenna amplifier, which is at the base of the A pillar on the driver's side, behind the trim. I think that if it was mine I would remove the PCM, disconnect the aerial cable, and put a piece of wire (about a metre long) into the aerial connector to see if there is any sign of a signal.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
