What is a "double bubble roof"?
It's called a double bubble, but it really is just a differently stamped metal roof w/ mildly raised outboard sections compard to the center. There are some mules/prototypes of either this car or the next gen 911 that show this roofline as well as the ducktail. This "SuperSport" 911 is supposed to debut at Frankfurt in Sept. Seems pretty well confirmed based on the number of cross postings on different forums from different European sources w/ similar specifications. It's a C2 in a C4 widebody w/ powerkit, etc. The price is outrageous if correct, but I bet it's actually $135K euros not pounds, which wouldn't be nearly as bad.
double-bubble also means no sunroof, a first in a 911. Also it supposedly comes in a ridiculously low number like 150.
