Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

Do you want looks or functionality? For functionality, I'd do neither and get Pedro's for a fraction of the price. I'd be happy to sell you my IPD as well.

POST 4Original post

Do they offer the plenum for the 3.6 996? I don't see it on the site.

POST 10Original post

Pedro seems to have some interesting stuff, I'm surprised I haven't heard of them before. The TechnoPower Kit seems interesting, priced well too 1200 bucks... anyone have this? I wonder if he can provide dyno results or est gains ?

I really don't understand that as the original IPD plenums were the same for 2000-2007 996.1, 996.2, 997.1 e-gas engines. Also the factory plenum(intermediate pipe) is the same for all 996 e-gas models. All 4wd has one type of plenum part # while there is a separate one for all 2wd models. I see now that IPD has reworked their design, either to freshen up the product and/or sell more of it. They've also tiered out their product lineup with unique part #s. If it was so good before, I don't know why they would've redesigned it, especially if there were no improved gains over the old. BTW, for 996.2 standard models, you'll want the c2"S" version.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
