Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, Been a long time 928 guy but finally bought a C2 cab. Couldn't be more pleased. Always thought if Porsche could take the best from my old 911SC Targa and combine it with the best of my 928S4 they would have the perfect car. They did it IMO with the 996 C2 Cab. What a delight. Just ordered all the parts for a complete clutch (only negative thing on PPI) job today. She will be going under the knife on Sunday. I'm gonna take photos along the way if anyone is interested i'll post them up. Cheers, Geoff

Welcome aboard neighbor. Your driveway looks like the foothills, and your Porsche looks gorgeous. I just ordered the parts to do my clutch today. I will probably be doing it the following weekend. I would love to see pictures, before I do mine. If you need a hand, pm me.

Thanks for all the nice comments folks. I was going to do the clutch Sunday but forgot that i'm gonna compete in the Fools Gold Enduro at Georgetown. I'll start the process Monday and document it best that I can. Decided to do the oil seperator as well since the tranny will be out anyway. After searching it looks like it is way easier to do that way. Just a preventative maintenance measure.
