Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2001 Carrera 4 needs new air-condition condensers. Any suggestions where I should buy them and have them installed? The cheapest so far I've found is £675 inc VAT to get the material and have them installed. But I'm a bit suspicious that the guy will just take the parts from one of his older models and put them into mine, so I think it might be better to buy the parts myself and have them fittet afterwards. Any help is appreciated Nicolas

POST 2Original post

You can buy them from www.eurocarparts.com . The Eis ones are OK, and about 1/2 price of the genuine Porsche parts from an OPC. It takes about 3-4 hours including recharging the system. £480 was the bottom line for John Ware: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/fb.asp?m=281618
