When putting the roof in it's service position I cracked that plastic lip that's at the end of the convertible top, the one that gets pushed under the two clips at the rear. The plastic has become really brittle and on the drivers side it is now loose and I can't clip it in anymore. Has anybody dealt with this before, and what did you do? Just let it be, or come up with some type of fix that is not replacing the whole top?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
