Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone let me know what will happen to my pcm 2 when I disconnect the battery, will it need recoding as I have looked through all paperwork and cannot find a code. If it does need recoding can this easily be done is it expensive? .just in case it makes a difference it's a 2004 carrara 2. Many thanks in advance....

POST 2Original post

You shouldn't have any problems. PCM2 doesn't have user entry codes - they are stored in the PCM and DME, and when you switch on it compares the two. You may have to wait a while for it to pick up satellites, but that's all.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
