Hello all, I put my hardtop on my 2005 C4S Cab this weekend - all ok. I went to the garage this morning to open the frunk, and mistakenly pressed the roof open button for a few seconds. Started the car, and the roof warning light came on and stayed on - this is the light on the instrument panel near the seat belt light. Any ideas what this might be? I pressed and held the soft top open button to make sure it was in the completely open position - the windows went down. Many thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Start by taking the hard top off and seeing if the soft top roof still works as it should, or whether you've broken something?
