Had some spare speakers laying around so decided to upgrade the door speakers. The adapters I got off Amazon ( Speaker Adapters ) 6.5" mid woofers are focal Polyglass, mids (I notched to door panel to fit the 4 tabs the K2 speaker had, since the tabs are not removeable) Tweeters are Focal K2 which were basically the same diameter of the stock tweeters, but took some force to get them in and deep enough to put the cover back on The car already had been upgraded with a Pioneer HU, I also added a reverse camera. Initial sound is very crisp now with the most improvement being the tweeters. It is now lacking in the bass department, so I will look into adding a subwoofer in the trunk at some point, and upgrading the amp to a JL 900.5 that I took out of my BMW before I gave the car to my daughter, i'll re-wire for the focal crossovers, and ditch the factory amp and gut the factory Bose sub as another member here did with an excellent write up I may ad!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
