Hey all. I have an 07 base Cayman with the base (very) sound system. There were no rear speakers and have managed to put some in. Any ideas about the best way to route the wires up to the front door speaker which I will be replacing? I know wiring them together will drop the ohms but until I can afford a new head unit, tis my plan.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

route the wiring under the center trim tunnel, the up and behind the radio controls, and tap in there. Probably your best bet. Or if you remove the passenger seat you can likely do under the carpeting near the frame of the shifter area. I watched a reverse camera install that suggested this. Personally I think its too much work but some people prefer it to removing the center console and trim.
