Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi, just got a 2005 boxster s , when I open the drivers door from the inside, the window only drops when the door latch releases, almost like a delay in the window dropping, but it does drop just not early enough, would this still be the micro switch in the latch?

POST 2Original post

Unless it's in disrepair as you are asking, just know if you try to enter or exit the vehicle with maximum speed it's not uncommon to catch the window before it clears the top. Slow down your moves, let the mechanism lower the window then open the door. It's also an option in the summer to leave the window below the top lip, that's where mine is all summer unless the weather is inclement.

POST 3Original post

As the window regulators wear out they can develop some slack that I think would behave the way that you are describing.
