Hi All, I'm new, the site looks interesting and I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with. Have an '02 996 C4S with PCM, which I now discover isn't covered by my extended Porsche warranty. 10 days ago whilst directing me down the M4 the Sat nav system screen went blank and then into a cycle of "initialising nav" messages without ever actually initialising. It will sometimes initailise and then works OK, but after a while "crashes" again. Any advice? Has anyone experienced the same problem? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hmmm, could be the disc, do you get an "Error the disk cannot be read" message? If so I take it out, give it a wipe and reinsert.
Nope, tried that, and French disc has same problem...
