Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apologies 'cos I know it's been covered before but couldn't find a thread that suggest anyone in my area. Have a bit of curb rash - will probably require a bit of metal to be added Anyone know a good wheel refubisher in the Reading area. OPC have quoted £130-140 a wheel Have used Bracknell Tyre and exhaust (don't know who they send it off to) in the past - but the wheel came back a darker shade!

POST 2Original post

lepsons are south-ish london. OPC reading prob send them there. they did an awesome job on mine, and are £40 cheaper if you dont go through OPC

POST 3Original post

another vote for Lepsons from me, excellent job...

POST 4Original post

Specialized Paintwork will do them- either powdercoat or paint, and could colour code them if you wish 8) Not sure what they charge, but they are top guys. They're a hundred metres from OPC Reading.

POST 5Original post

Specialised are superb. Another suggestion is http://www.wheelrefurbishing.com/ These guys did the centres of my Cargraphics - v happy. The only downside is you'll have to take or post the wheel(s) to them and they're in the middle of no where, up in the Chilterns, off the M25. If you decide to get a commerical wheel refurber to do the job then I suggest you do the pair (front and back) as getting a colour match is difficult. This way at least each side of the car will match. Specialised will probably be able to match the paint and so do one wheel.
