Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The stationary wing of my C2 Cab met the knee of a moving scrote, the result an orange shaped 'ding', paint unbroken. OPC and independent body shop both quote £600 to fix, involving spraying (Ocean Blue Met). ?,s 1) Are paintless repairs any good 2) Can anyone reccomend a good paintshop in the Cambridge/Ely area I'd rather pay a bit more and have the car the same colour overall (8 years old now) than do it on the cheap and not get a good result. Help appreciated, thanks.

POST 2Original post

Get it checked by a dent remover - might only cost 80 quid.

POST 3Original post

I agree, I have used them and had a big knee size dent in my door and they pulled it out and it was perfect. If you go to dent devil site get the chap round offer cash and it will be cheaper. I think it was around £60. Good luck chap

 I bet that hurt!!!! Is the 'scrote' paying the bill?

I bet that hurt!!!! Is the 'scrote' paying the bill?[/quote] Unfortunately no, long gone. Phil from Dent Devils has just left - fantastic job, dent completely gone without a trace. He's Bedford based, 07976 803293 and has made my day. Thanks for the advise and help people.
